I realize that this and almost EVERYTHING has been discussed in previous forums. I can find this at [Google]. But what's the fun in that. . .
Thank you for the info
Indeed I was. If you search this forum, you'll find the question of cutter vs. punch and why has been discussed, debated, debunked, and analyzed many times. The point with suggesting a search is that if you look, the answers already exist.I realize that this and almost EVERYTHING has been discussed in previous forums. I can find this at [Google]. ...I think BBS was suggesting the forum's search, not Google.... It's in the button rack near the top of the page.
The Swiss "Cigar Punch" knife that I picked up on a tip from Kingantz works great. I smoke quite a few Sancho Panza Quixote's and the punch helps keep the cap from unraveling.

What are the three punch sizes on that thing?

My preference is a cutter. I just prefer the fuller, very easy flowing, draw from a cigar cut with a cutter.
Infact, I'm one of those weirdos who didn't like the recommended punch cut on the LFD Chisel, I ended up hacking the tip off after a few puffs.
