If I offered you a 10 year old Cohiba OR a 10 year old Opus, which would you take, you can only take one?
Having recently smoked an original release Opus from '96 and a '95 Cohiba Esplendidos early last year, I'll take the Opus. An incredible smoking experience compliments of a very generous BOTL. Thanks again, bro (you know who you are). BTW, the same size Opus from '97 scored an impressive 99 in CA last year, showing how incredible this smoke can be with some age on it.

I'm not sure many people would have the self control to wait 10 years to age such already delicious sticks.

i've been smoking Cubans for the last 8 yrs, and i also believe, for the most part, they're over-rated. Monte #2 is good, as are some of the Millinium releases, and a few others, but i'm getting new releases, not the aged stuff. I really good cuban is hard to beat. I'm smoking a box of Monte #2's Habanos that are as good as i've ever emoked, for any cigar

I had a 10 yo Opus once and it would be hard to beat by anything out there. I had a 20 yo Davidoff N1 two days later and would be hard pressed to say which was better. Good cigars are made by many people and so are crappy ones. the key is to smoke what you like but be willing to try new things too.
