Smoked this for the first time this morning in the mobile smoke lounge. It is a JR 50th exclusive, and the only one of there 50ths that I bought.

Started off very sweet, like vanilla cake, minus the frosting with some hay. Retrohale was more sweetness and a mild pepper

At about the midway point I picked up syrup and citrus, orange I think.

Final 3rd added butter. Think vanilla cake with a little too much butter

It was pretty fantastic, definitely worth a box purchase. Side note the I ran in the house to add a little sugar to my coffee, which isn't something I normally do, but I feel it bought the sweet notes out more. Medium strength and medium plus body.

The second band did take a piece of the wrapper, but nothing was impacted.

Second side note. None of the discount codes I found worked on the 50th anniversary items

Great Review. Was thinking about picking this up to try since I like the brand but with JR was hesitant so once I thought this is just a marketing gimmick. Oh well

I smoked this one a few months ago out of the 50th Anniversary Collection. Really enjoyed it, but they made a very limited supply. Do you know anything similar recommendations that would come close to the flavor notes to this cigar?
