I think you'd be better off putting that LFD Lancero for the MJ12 instead of the Chisel

Ben, I agree with Nasty, the LFD DL lancero is a better put than the chisel. Although when I averaged out the price of the chisel I came out with $7.41 (close, really close

) But I could be wrong too, anybody else want to help me with my math?

The Olive serie V Maduro I bought for $73.50 back in 10/08 so it comes to $7.30 each, however, the new batch hasn't hit the shelves yet, I think.
Outside of the fact the V maduro is sparse, pricewise the chisel could replace the Oliva V maduro torpedo.

After talking with Greg in PM (before I even posted my P/T), I re-added and only came up with $6.72 instead of $7.22 (Dave, how'd you get $7.42?). I really would prefer each pass participant to show how they came up with pricing, especially if the particular cigar is not listed or only has one price listed on Cigarcyclopedia.

Double Ligero Chisel (natural) 20 - 6 x 54 Atlantic 151.00 BestCigar 134.95 Bonita 112.95 Cgr Intl 104.95 Famous 151.99 Holts 150.95

= 806.74 / 6 = 134.45 per box / 20 =6.72 per cigar

And here's how Dave came up with the Chisel price that was different than mine:

Jack Schwartz $151.00 box/20 ct.
Tower Cigars $139.95 box/20 ct.
Holt's Cigars $150.95 box/20/ct.
Serious Cigars$150.95 box/20 ct.

Total prices $592.85 divide by 4 = $148.21

Divide $148.21 by 20 ea and = $7.41

Also, I just got home from work and had a huge box waiting in my living room (my wife hid it then surprised me "You're pass box is here!"). The 40+ box looks good at 68% but the 1-39 box was sitting at 75%. Should something be done about that and if so, what?

Another side question: Should I go ahead and ship tomorrow and let it sit over the weekend at the warehouse somewhere since it isn't very warm out anymore?

Ben, are the new sticks in the box with the 75%, that might be the culprit. If not, crack the lid and let it breathe for a half hour in a less humid environment. That way it won't shock the foot of the cigar and crack the end.

Question Greg, I saw CI had the chisel at a really low price ($104.95), but they've been out of stock for a while. The rest of the prices were inline to what Ben and I saw. Should we use price points from vendors that don't have it readily available?

Sorry, its the original sticks box 1-39, but the hygro was sitting directly next to the beads. I moved them apart and will see what happens...

As mentioned, just leave it open until ready to pack up, let it hopefully dry out a bit.

If there's plenty of places with the smoke in stock, just use those. Otherwise, use what you can find
