To be honest I am not sure on this one. TAA is an charity event, the cigars were sort a "door prize, I believe some place were charging over $100 dollars for the event. That price may have included other things like food, drinks, other prizes. I do know that an BOTL who is also a retailer and whom also post deals here at CP was offering them for around $50 "donation". If you factor in shipping of $5 that makes $55.00, so half would be $27.50.

So what is the value? $25.00 would be my pick, any other thoughts?

I'm all set :thumbs: Great turnaround Boar! I'll have my T/Ps up shortly...gotta go cruise through the humi and see what I have to match my wishlist from this thing :cool:

I wasn't sure. I thought the set was $55, so $27.50. $25 is good too.
 
I just want to add . . . the put/take conversations here have been a great education, but few things about this pass have been more instructive on how to do things right than opening that box!

Been in a couple box passes. Never seen anything quite as well-packed or highly organized as what I found in there. Just . . . wow. And here I thought I was OCD! :laugh:

I did trim a little weight and reorganize it but this all starts with Greg. Great work man.
 
Slight delay here since I had ACL reconstruction surgery a few days ago and have been laid up in bed immobile while trying to recover. It was pretty damn funny to see me trying to get over to and then go through my wineodor to make my picks while on a full regimen of percocets :laugh:

Pass arrived today and everything initially looks in good order. I'm going to do an inventory and put them in my vinotemp for the remainder of the weekend. First thing I notice is that the box is well-packed and organized...second thing I notice is that it smells like someone spritzed the beads with their girlfriend's body spray - FRUITY! I had a girl over today that said "It smells like that thing is filled with cherry cigars" :laugh:

I was thinking Carbonless spends too much time in Bath and Body works sniffing that cherry blossom scent. Yeah I'm married so what?

It's actually the beads. They're quite old and get that smell for some reason. I've got several similar bags of beads here that have started turning yellow and have that same smell. Guess it's getting time to change them out.

I didn't realize that there was more than one kind of KingB...I'm pretty sure that mine is the sungrown although I bought a 5er and not the box so I can't be positive. (cedar wrapped w black ribbon). How do I distinguish? It's the Hemi Classic Natural although I'll have to check the humi again to make sure once I get home tomorrow (If I only have 1 Nattie left then I'll put the Maddie).

I sent a PM to Wavescrashing yesterday, but haven't heard back from him yet. We were originally going to meet up in person, but his profile says that he's out at 29 Palms right now. If I dont hear back from him tomorrow then I'll hold onto the pass for a day or two to see if I can get in touch with him.
