CPFFL Year 8 - ESPN League (Sign-up & Season Thread)

Gents,

Since Brian decided not to renew the ESPN league he has run for the last 7 years, I've decided to see if there is enough interest to continue with the ESPN league. Buy-in would be $100 and rules would be very similar in terms of points and scoring structure. I will dive more into the specifics this weekend. If you're interested (and have some type of reputation, trade history, etc.) then post below...we need 10 to get this thing off the ground. Money is payable at end of the season to whomever you are assigned to pay.

1st: $500 (Keeps own $100 and is payed by 4,5,6,7)
2nd: $300 (Keeps own $100 and is payed by 8,9)
3rd: $200 (Keeps own $100 and is payed by 10)
4th: Receives Cigar Type Gift from First Place (Ex: 3 Favorite Cigars)

Note: I prefer ESPN to Yahoo and the other league is a stick league and this has historically been the cash league. It's been my favorite one every year, so I hope we can continue.

I haven't played D&D for Jocks in a few years... should be fun. Count me in!

Probably Sunday Sept. 3rd...

That's the last Sunday before the regular season...so you'll have the pre-season to scout talent and see who gets injured. Of course, we have to get 10 to sign-up.
 
Looks like 100 it is, nobody seems to really care about the extra $25...I figure if you play for a whole season...may as well make it a little more fun. I will put up scoring, payouts, a more detailed outline, proposed draft time, etc. by the end of the weekend.

Also I have it set to 12 Regular Season Matches instead of 13 with 4 Playoff Teams and 4 Weeks of Playoffs (Two Games per Match-up).

I shortened the regular season from 13 to 12 so that the last couple weeks of playoffs all great players that their NFL team has a lock on the playoffs (and that player carried you all season) are now bench riders.
