Responses have been good, and I think realistic. We're having fits securing a venue for the main event, though. Use this thread to post your desire to attend. If there is even the slightest chance you'll be joining us, please post it now. We need to know where to aim for the size of the venue, munchies, and bar. The sooner we can plan, the better off we are.

Keep in mind that this is VEGAS! There will be bunches of side HERFs, comsumption of mass quantities, and perhaps a little risking of the currency. During the main event, there will be TONS of drawings and some unbelievable raffle items to support CigarPass. Last year, I drew half a cab of ERDMs, a fist full of Bolivars, a great t-shirt, and enough Cigarmony butane to start a war. I did some great trades, and I lost track of sticks I was given outright. Make your plans now!

I was just wondering if somebody would be willing to accept a care package for me. I might not have room :whistling: for a few things that I want to bring. It would be easier to ship them instead of bringing them across the border with me. PM is fine.

I am talking about bringing a few things from Canada (home) to the herf that I don't want to be with me when I cross the border...you know for religious reasons

And I am wanting to send them ahead of me. Is that what you are referring to?

In part, yes. The Keeper will accept shipments of anything for the HERF. There will be stuff such as cigar donations and your shipment that will need to rest in a coolidor. The Keeper will see to that, and return your advance when you're ready for it.

I apologize for the ambiguity. Guests would be those attending with you. I'll be bringing my wife and daughter, so I'll have 2 guests. Head count as of 10/27/06 would be something between 36 and 42 depending on how the guest thing plays out.

It is WAY to early to worry about formalities (SP). I will volunteer to be the "keeper" as it worked out pretty well last year. I think it is safe to say that I will be attending, but only if Atuck comes..he can be my date. I will also only come if Tone ny drives down through Salt Lake
