HERF 2007 is being meticulously planned, but we need your help. I will be maintaining the list of attendees, for the event overall, and for each of the planned functions. Short of a family emergency, I know today that my wife and I will be there. I'm 99% certain of that. I'm betting that many of you have some idea how likely it is that you and your guest(s) will be there. What I'd like you to do now is post in this thread how likely that is. Post it now, expressed in percentage, how likely it is that you are going and whether you will have guests.

It is obvious that we need headcount in order to plan our venues. With a reasonable count, we can also begin to build our warchest of door prizes and raffle items. So, if you are entertaining SOME chance, that is a probability greater than zero that you will be joining us in June, please post here now. If you know you can't make it, there is no need for you to post. Please do not post planning questions here. There are or will be other threads to address questions. As we get closer, edit your post to amend the percentage probability to reflect your plans.

For now, just the HERF is included. As we firm the venue and events, I'll post them here so you can edit your post.

Sidenote: as you do business with your trusted vendors, identify yourself as a CigarPass Brother. Let them know where their business is coming from.

I considered that, but wanted this to be a 'living' thread. You edit your post at any time, but you can't change a poll vote. Today, we just need to know who wants to go so we can form a rough count. By may, I expect that the percentages will approach either 100 or zero. I hope we get posts right up to June 18 from both regulars and newbies. On the day of the event, I'll have a list with attendees, hotels, and other details in table form that I'll pass out as you check in. It'll be up to you to add room numbers, cellphone numbers, etc for those you want to keep up with.

That was the same probability you gave for the BBQ herf which you didn't attend.

For me:

Probability of attending: 37.5%
Number of guests: 1 (2?)
Hotel: not planned yet
Car?: Nunya (Why even ask this question.... ??? ) either that or I'm riding in Rod's car whether he likes it or not. :laugh:
Flight details: Flying in from Hartford, Boston, Providence or New York no info yet.

EDIT: Probability increased from 12.5% to 37.5% since Rod's driving and I'm smoking his ceegars. :p
 
If you fly to LA, you can ride up with me. Just don't smoke all of the cigars on the way up. :D

I happen to know a guy who works for an airline. He gets discount passes that he can give to folks from time to time. :whistling:
