OK - Since I have never played in the Yahoo league, I am going to ask a couple dumb questions:

1. How many players can you start? What is W/T - W/R - BN?


2. Is there a mandatory starting line-up by position?

3. You can make as many drops and adds as you like with no addl cost?

4. If a free agent is available, who determines who gets him if more than one team wants the free agent? In the league I am in, if multiple teams want a free agent, then there is a lottery on Wednesday evenings.

5. Do you draft 1 extra player per position? ie - 2 qb's - 4 w/r - etc.

Sorry for the questions, just not sure of how this league works.

1. I believe it there are 9 starters the W/T -W/R are flex positions. The BN is bench, with a flex position you can start a WR or a TE then the other either a Wr or a RB.

2. Yes but you get two flex postions

3. Yes

4. It is decided by a system that Yahoo uses so that when you pick up a FA there is like 2 days for someone to pick him up. If they have a lower number they would get him before you. I believe that number is done by the last time you picked. So if 10 teams and you pick a FA you are now 10.

5. Varies by postion I drafted two QB's but at the end of the season I had 4 QB's

I might make it, gonna be tight. Did the CSffl the other night and I was disconnected on dial up 3 times. The three choices autopicked for me... Peyton Manning... Dom Davis and Dejon Branch... this after I had excluded the latter two players from my pre draft rankings. Go figure.

It'll prolly go on for a couple hours.

Has the people that haven't paid been in contact with you? Not the norm to draft first pay later.
 
I agree - payments should be made no later than this Thursday before the season starts.

Alex - I know you are good for the $. If not, I will pay your fee, and will own 99% of your team. :p
 
I was there... Said screw it, and let the computer auto draft mine!!! Kept freezing after my first pick! Oh well...
