CP Fantasy Football 2 - 2017

Paul, I think that was you who won your first time in the league but your team was the I dont play bball. But yea, you seem to take two years off then win, so 2018 is your next chance.

Aaron, I think the champ keeps the trophy all year and then ships to the new winner? Yes, it would be about $10 or so for the winner to ship it, but thats what you get for not repeating as champion!! *And Edit to add: it looks like this league did exist in 2010 as well, so I updated that post on page 4.

also, I am dying not playing any FF right now. Anyone interested in a playoff FF league? If so I would put something simple together; even with only 8 or us it would be fun to draft 9 players only and the scoring lasts through the SB. Any takers? Only thing is I don't know of a site that does it, so if anyone does, we can do that OR I can just do it in excel. Anyone do anything like this? And this would be open to all members, but preferably the two groups in the CP FFL's.

Wow I haven't received anything yet. I'm worried I gave the wrong address. I moved in 2015. Brian, did you receive the package back?

Ok sorry in advanced for the long post. So I moved 2.5 years ago to a new house about 2 miles away from my old house. I just went by and knocked on the door. No one answered fro about 5 minutes so I was standing writing a note explaining what had happened. A lady answered after about 5 minutes. She said she thinks he daughter took it back to the post office and went back inside to check. I am standing outside for another 5 minutes and then I hear packaging tape like she is taping the box back together. She opens the door and hands me the packages and it has clearly been opened and resealed because the address label has been sliced in half. She said that her and her daughter opened it because they thought it was for them and then saw the name after they opened it. She was very nice about it and I told her there were probably a couple $100s in cigars in there from me winning a fantasy football league. She said they don't and said congrats for winning lol. Just a very funny exchange and everything looks to be in the package. For anyone that ever wants to mail me anything my sig line is in my avatar and I live in Johns Creek not Roswell lol. I will be mailing out my end today and will post the DC#.

Ah. I see. Glad to hear the story had a happy ending and that the sticks were all there!!

The shipping addy from the package I received still had the Roswell address on it. I wonder if when you printed the packing slip, USPS still has the Roswell address and uses that as the shipped from address? Might explain the confusion.
 
That is exactly what happened as I am printing your label now and see my old address. Nice catch and I hope you like this!

Wow!!! I am glad that resolved itself. You have to remember to change your return addy that is automatically generated from online printing. I did that once as well, so I have been there done that. This is also the reason that in years past I have asked for names/address's to be PMed to me once you say you are "in"; but it got redundant...maybe just incase I will start doing that again.
 
I don't plan on moving till I die and get my ashes spread somewhere...

This could have gone really bad! I am glad it worked out
 
CP's 2nd FFL will be back for 2018!! I am out of town until the end of July, so I may not have time to put it all together for a few weeks...But be patient, we will be back!!
HOPE everyone is back in this year!!!
