First two T/P's are good, however the Opus PL I've got at $10 and the DP CL I show is at $9 (also don't think it's as rare as the Opus, hopefully someone from the board will correct me if I'm wrong). The Camacho I've got a little over $12, the LFD BTTB a little over $11. Lastly the Padron Torp a little over $16, the LFD "A" at $13.50.

Sorry bro, those last three T/P's I'm thinking won't work. If anyone from the board has different info than what I found, please speak up.

I mean no offense here because I'm learning and hopefully we can all learn. I have some questions as to how we value sticks.

For Padrons I thought that MSRP is used. The 64 Torp natural comes in at $14.00 on the CP List. The LFD A is listed at $134.99 on Cigarencyclopedia (but famous does not have them available). and holts has them at $161.99. I could not find them instock or priced anywhere else. The average price between the two for the A is $14.85.

For the Camacho, Tinderbox was $190, holts $231, ci $231, for an average price of $10.50

I though the the Centurion was $10.00 I was mistaken about that I'm going to find something else.

Let me know what you think I can look for substitutes. I'm definetly not trying to stir anything up, just learn more about the process :blush: (the boards have been a little touchy lately :( ).
 
I did find two more price points for the LFD A One at $129.99, and One at 154.99. Puts the averager closer to $14.50.

Course no offense, I screw up more than anyone on here. :D If I find the sticks listed on Cigarcyclopedia and there's pricing there, I'll usually just use those prices listed. However, I did do a search on the LFD "A", see below.

Padron 64 Torp - Atlantic $300 BestCigar $345 Famous $300 TNT $300 Total $1,245 divided by 4 = $311.25 divided by 20 comes to $15.56 per stick (Cigarcyclopedia only)

LFD "A" - Famous $134.99 Tex cigars $129.99 Bestcigarprices $154.95 Tower $153.50 Holts $161.95 Atlantic $162.00 total $897.38 divided by 6 comes to $149.56 divided by 10 = $14.96 per stick.

I'd do a search on the Padron 64 Torp for more prices, but I'm too tired and need to hit the hay. I won't have time to look at it tomorrow until late, so let's go with that trade. I'm sure it'll come out to be close enough either way.

As far as the Camacho, I did go back and came up with $11.05 on that one (not sure where the $12 something came from). So, that trade will work as well.

All approved other than the Opus. Let us know on that one. See, asking questions is good for all of us as we learn more each time (especially me!).

That's great Greg, I know that all in all it's your pass and what you say goes. I know what your saying about researching sticks though it's tedious. I'm going through that with the 101-2 pass.

I've got to look and see if I have something for the Opus I'd love to try that size.

I still have one question and maybe a FOG or professor needs to chime in here. Are the pinned prices on Opus, Anejo, and Padron the law for pricing in passes or should we research prices like any other stick? Does it differ by pass and up to the host?

I also saw you found tex cigars. I did not buy my A's from them because when I was looking they had the wrong picture up and I thought I'd get the wrong sticks or something. Now they have taken the pic down. Anyway does anyone know anything about this vendor? Are they safe to buy from? They seem to have good pricing.

My .02 cents

On Opus / Anejo / Padron and a few others MSRP is ALWAYS used because of the markup and gouging that takes place.


As far as the Centurion Lancero for an Opus PL. Thats a tough call, as the PL is a regular production cigar that MSRP is $10 and the Centurion Lancero is a $8.50 - $12.00 depending on where you buy it from; and is a one time release which adds rarity to it. Becasue of the production numbers, I would call the DP Cent. Lancero rarer than the Opus PL.

Yeah guys, I apologize, but I must formally bow out of the pass. Some traveling came up out of the blue that I must do, and it will all be going on around the time frame that I would be receiving the pass. I don't want it to be sitting in Hawaii waiting on me to get back and making all of you gentlemen wait, so thus the reason for my dismissal. Thank you for allowing me in.
