I was wondering if anyone out there has knowledge of which would be better for a small construction company that is just getting off the ground.

Thanks,

Dave

If funds are tight, an LLC should be just fine. Corporations take a couple grand to set up if I remember correctly.

I also have an LLC. My attorney said once it picks up and reaches a certain dollar amount per year I'll have to switch it, but an LLC is better to start a small business. I would find an attorney and an accountant you trust and ask them. I learned that you need an attorney, accountant and an investment person. Good luck BROTHER.

Yeah meeting with both of them tomorrow. Looking for more input.

Thanks guys

Yup, money well spent there. We are an LLC with Members.

Dave, I've set up both. It sounds like you're getting the necessary advice but should you need additional guidance feel free to PM me.

Not necessarily.

I'm not sure what your attorney meant by that (sales limitation? value limitation?), but it is inaccurate. Ask him if he's ever heard of Wynn Las Vegas, LLC. If there was some arbitrary dollar amount limitation, I'm quite sure they would have surpassed it!
