LLC takes all the liability off of you. I would think this is the route you would want to go in. Are there any attorneys on here?
I also have an LLC. My attorney said once it picks up and reaches a certain dollar amount per year I'll have to switch it, but an LLC is better to start a small business. I would find an attorney and an accountant you trust and ask them. I learned that you need an attorney, accountant and an investment person. Good luck BROTHER.

I was wondering if anyone out there has knowledge of which would be better for a small construction company that is just getting off the ground.
Thanks,
Dave
If funds are tight, an LLC should be just fine. Corporations take a couple grand to set up if I remember correctly.
