This is cool optical illusion I found on the web!~
Which way is the girl spinning? Clockwise or counter clockwise? Can you see them both?

I guess I don't get it. She's obviously spinning clockwise.

Her shadow, on the other hand...

Heh sorry i cheated and pulled it apart in Adobe image ready, the answer is both but cool.

Pretty neat... I can see both, but counter-clockwise comes more naturally.

I can see both and make it switch! This is pretty cool

As her raised leg passes her body, you cant see if its in the foreground or background, in relation to her body.

Wow, this is interesting. I can see both now. When you see one, concentrate on her legs to see her spin the other way.

I see it only counter-clockwise. The shadow is moving counter-clockwise, there's no other logical way for her to be moving.

Here's another cool one I came across today. It even has directions. You'll probably have to view the full size image to make it work.

Sure there is. That's why it's an optical illusion. When her foot is moving left to right, there's no way to tell if it's behind or in front of her other leg in the the middle of the image. I can get it to switch by looking off to the side of the image and imagining it spinning the other direction. Eventually my mental image and the real image synch up and I see the other direction.

This spining lady dont work with me, I can see her spining only 1 way

But this 3d pic is great! I had some troubles to see it, but when 3d view was ON I even couldnt make it OFF ! Really! I had to wave my hand in front of my eyes! :D

...but if you look at the shadow for a cue, lacking and depth perception from the figure, it clearly shows it moving counter-clockwise... so that's the right answer.

I can get it to go both ways as well, but clockwise is the more natural for me and if I look away and look back it is clockwise every time. If you concentrate on the shadow it will eventually switch directions (even the shadow switches directions, Moki). Weird.

Yeah, I didn't get it at first, but kept trying. It definitely moves both ways.

This reminds me of those 3-D posters that came out in the late 80's, early 90's. They were in all the malls and people would stand there for hours at a time until they "got it". Some never did, but those that did get it were always amazed!
