Ya know Scott, after you've been on the boards for a few years you find that 90% of what's being posted on a board has been posted before ad naseum (sp). Seen it all, heard it all, done it all, said it all, got the T-shirt. Guys saying they don't like all the drama, guys saying they want more drama, guys not liking the rules, guys wanting new rules, guys wanting no rules. New cigars, old cigars, boutique cigars, pre-embargo cigars. Ripoff artists, scam artists, rich guys giving it all away, poor guys taking what they can get, trades, sales, passes, accessories, humidors, booze, beer on and on. After a while ya start to wonder what the point is. What need in your life is posting on a board like this filling. You've made good friends, bad enemies, met some folks and smoked some cigars.
I started posting on cigar boards to learn about cigars and once I had my degree all that was left was the friends and enemies I'd made. The really good enemies are all gone but the really good friends are still around. Having said all that, the reason I've posted so much the last few days is
THE DRAMA!!!
I want more of it, and the more hateful and abhorent (sp) the better. Oh, and a new laptop I'm working the kinks out of. Ahem.
