Sorry for the short notice, but I was just told that Don Pepin Garcia will be stopping by Uptown Cigar on Tuesday, May 5th. I guess he will be in the area, so he decided to stop off here for a while. If anyone is interested, he will be here around noon on Tuesday. If anyone would like to come and make and make a day of this, mi casa su casa. You are all welcome anytime. Hope to see some of you here!

I've been off for almost two weeks and Tuesday is the day I have to go back to work. Luckily I got to see all the Garcia's at CigarFest.

Definitely! It was a surprise to hear that Pepin would stop by. I can only guess that he's on his way back from Cigar Fest and will be stopping by a few places before heading back to Miami.

He will be at Habana Premium Cigar shop here in Albany on Monday.I am going to the "rolling event". I spoke to the owner last week and wasn't sure what to expect...ie can we buy what he rolls etc...I'll keep you posted what happens tomorrow. It starts at 4pm.

Have a great time guys and take plenty of pics. As Mark (metapes) stated that it was good to ketch up with the Pepins' at CigarFest as I definitely have to work this week each and everyday. Thanks for the posting Israel, have a great week........ :D :thumbs: :cool:

Man I wish I didnt have to work this evening. Do you know what time the event runs till? Not only to meet Pepin but also to meet some of the faces from this forum. I use Habana in North Greenbush mostly but, for the best selection you definately need to go to Albany.

I believe it's 4-8pm.
 
From the sounds of it he may be doing more of a "demo" than custom rolling for the crown to purchase. But hopefully I can get my hands on a custom roll.
 
Nashkicker: If you can't make it today to Albany, come down to Kingston tomorrow.
