Cigars & Politics...This Should Be Interesting!

DISCLAIMER: This is not a Political article favoring one party over another...just an interesting read.

A buddy of mine that attended the QSH with us sent me THIS article about the pending legislation of the FDA running the cigar show and how it could affect the upcoming Presidential race because of the industry's high profile in Florida.

Not sure if this is good or bad for our cause as cigar smokers.

I hope the CRA is trying to help get this message out correctly to BOTH parties involved and it's not just a tool used during the election then dropped like a rock and this thing passes quietly one night in a bad direction!

There are places you can make known your dissatisfaction with the proposed law. You can write your Senators and Corgressmen/women. To just sit idly by without any effort to stop it will eventually lead to defeat. I have, and do continue to make my choices known to the appropriate people. I highly recommend all of the brothers/sisters here do the same. It's our love for cigars they are trying to take away. :angry:
