I kinda addressed that on the last page.

As anyone who has run any of the ten-member pool here knows, it's a heck of a lot of work. In a way we're lucky that Michael Cook does all the work for this one :p and all we have to do is send out cigars every two weeks which shouldn't be THAT hard to do (shuji, SD_Stack, etc........ :0 )
 
Hey guys, just wanted to take the oppertunity to apologize for my pack to Toaster arriving late.

While running from summer job to summer job, I put on the wrong addy [which I found out when it was returned to me]. I sent a new one out last wed., but feel bad that it arrived so late.


That aside, congrats to the new winner [and I'll learn how to write in English]

I know- I was voicing my vote for an all cigarpass-pool :thumbs:

I've never done one of the 10 people pool's here... There seems to always be "Drama" involved- so I shy away :lookup: so I guess you're right. Mr Cook is nice enough to run his pool and allow us to play ;)
 
Anyone here ever received cigars (from cigarpool) that you KNOW were rebanded?

I've started smoking some of the cigars I received- and I got to one, which is one of my all time favorites, I've smoked boxes & boxes of these, so I know what to expect = full bodied spicy flavor... the cigar was suspect to me from the get go because of its color wrapper- never saw one that light.... but I smoked it anyway and it was something EXTREMELY mild... Because of its size and color- I'm pretty sure I even know what it really was. :angry:


Of course, I can't prove anything- but I kept a list of who sent me what- so I know exactly who sent it. I guess my point to this post: There is no reason to reband... send what you want or what you can. No reason to make something look like something its not. :sneaky: The whole concept is fun, not gain or vanity.

Now, in the interest of being fair- The guy who sent it may have gotten it from someone else who rebanded it? so I guess he's innocent until proven guilty :lookup:

And no: Its no one here on our board.

I was third on the list and now I am in at big #27. We'll see how that works out. I'm starting to be known at the post office, and not because my picture is posted, but because I'm sending and receiving much more often since I joined CPass. I now actually know how to mail stuff.
 
Well three people dropped and were all replaced by three CPer's who all got their second number:

Any time you feel you have to many cigars let me know I'll take care of them for ya. At 4-5 cigars a day, my humi's have a hard time staying full. Especially when I run across a good deal.

You know, this is what I like about this place. I present a problem, and darn if someone doesn't come along to help me out within MOMENTS!

what are friends for....

I'm up to 5 coolerdors, and have 9 boxes stored at my local shop. about to get my 6th today(a new Costco is opening today, why not another 152qt cooler). I keep asking the question.......WHY?????

but they sure taste good.

he so close we'll meet up for a smoke again. Anyone in the Northern VA area want to have a mini herf let me know. I think Sunday August 8th would be good.
