Yes and No. I have a very good friend who owns a supermarket chain and usually we go with tickets from the sales reps for this stores.

Package arrived today. Thank you. Try to post pics if I can get my hands on the camera :angry:

Where are we at with this? This thread has been going so long I'd hate to see it die.

wavescrashing you are required to post once you get Brian's sticks and then offer the next person to post some sticks from your stash. It's been over a week...let's keep this thing rolling now that the holidays are over.

Brian if he hasn't been in contact with you via PM I'd recommend PMing him to make sure he knows the rules and make sure he is taking care of things.

All things said I'm not really sure why you would default to assuming he (wavescrashing) hadn't pmed his address, since he posted "Brian, PM sent sir." on 12/27. It sounds like you saying the recipient is responsible for whether the sender gets their end out on time, which doesn't really make sense. Clearly things are all good and Brian did his job fine. I just find the tone of that post a bit disconcerting since it places the onus of the issue on the recipient for not posting soon enough about sticks he hasn't even received yet.

Phil, I know there was an initial PM but anything after that is out of public view. The thread had not been updated for a while and we've had problems in the past with people getting their sticks and then disappearing with them and not upholding their end of the bargain. I was just trying to make sure that both people were doing the right thing and that something fishy wasn't going on. It's also good form to post the DC# when you send the sticks out and update the thread if you are bit behind.

Glad to see that everything has worked out. I'll shut up now.
 
Greg I hear you on keeping both sides accountable, both sides assume responsibility when playing in the PIF. I think we are on the same page, it just seemed like you were placing the accountability on the recipient for tracking the package vs. the sender for actually getting it out in the first place. I also agree that posting a DC# is a good idea given the history of this thread re: timeliness, if only to avoid moments of panic.

My bad guys. I sent the DC# via PM and did not put it in the thread,will do next time. Also I mailed out a few packages that day and I think his package went first class instead of priority and with the holiday that was the hold up.
