CigarPass Herf - May 24, 2008

Just kickin an idea around. Anyone up for a motorcylce ride to the HERF? 1100 miles from Seattle, Boise would be my halfway point.
I'm game! You can crash here and then we could head out in the AM. I think it is about a 10 hr ride, and flatter than hell.

This year will be much better. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Scott

I was surfing around and came across this place it looks like something you might be interested in. Food, huge variety of Drinks and they allow cigar smoking.

2007 found us on the patio of our host. It was too hot for the beer taps to work. I think we did fine anyhow, and everyone had a fine time. However, Inside is sounding pretty damned good.

If you're thinking about coming out to the herf, you may want to book your rooms as soon as possible in order to get a good price on a hotel room. Last year we had several botls share rooms, which cut down on the cost...

Check out South Point - http://www.southpointcasino.com for good rates, very nice/new/clean hotel/casino. I got my reservations through Travelocity.com.

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!
VIVA CP HERF III!!

BOOKED BOOKED and Vacation approved!

Book now before rates go up! Remember, you can always cancel 24 hours before the event if need be... Better to book early and be safe...

couple questions for this newbie

book anyhotel in vegas or is everything being held in the one ur staying?

do we bring our own stash or is there sufficient places to buy there..i mean it is vegas?

and....well my brain broke so anything more you can tell me would be great to know

Stay anywhere you like in Las Vegas.
We usually plan alot of smaller get togethers on the strip; usually at Casa Fuente (Ceasars Forum Shops).
And of course the after hour activities vary..from bar to club to strip club.

Main even is held at the Road Runner Restaurant (which is abour 15 min off strip)

Definately bring your own cigars. Buying cigars in Vegas gets very expensive very quick.
At the past 2 herfs in vegas We seemed to get together daily in Vegas to hang out smoke ,conversate, and drink adult beverages.

thanks that sounds awesome
now i gotta convince the lady friend for us to spend her bday in vegas i question her family all the time why they couldnt wait till after memorial day to give birth

Also it is a lady friend friendly event. Alot of us bring our significant others and they always seem to enjoy themselves!

Hmmmmm...Cigars and gambling. Why, that sounds just like all my other trips to Vegas

I will definitely try to make this one. I stay in the MGM chain since they comp my rooms provided I spend enough time at the tables. Heh. Like THAT'S a tough job.

Anyway, it would be great to meet up with a bunch of you ne'er-do-wells and also finally make it over to the Fuente mothership at Caesar's.

Room is already booked. Look forward to meeting some people from CP.

Booked at the Carriage House, arrive on the 23rd and will be in town through the 30th.

Will be doing some side trips maybe up to SLC. My brother-in-law is in Iraq and will not be back until the end of May beginning of June so my usual base out of SLC will change this year.

Just wondering if this event is still happening? Dont see alot of ppl posting in here.

Have anymore ppl commited to this event yet?

Looks like I'll make it again this year. I've schedule the time off, but yet to make any travel arangments. I look forward to seeing everyone again!
