CigarPass has moved to Texas...

A web server generally has two IP addresses. When you have a domain name, you set the IP's (primary and secondary) to the DNS (domain name server). When you type the domain in your browser, it searches the DNS server that your ISP has set for you, or one you set (open dns, google dns, etc). It's like a phone book that translates the domain to an IP. To answer your question, yes, it's an automatic process that all DNS servers need to update. Usually it completes within 24 hours.

Glad to hear the AT&T problem has been resolved. I haven't been able to get on CP at home or through my works intranet for a few weeks now.

Welcome to TX. Even if DFW is the armpit.

I jest, I jest. ;)
