Hey Marc I just got home and checked my notebook, and if you have access to the list i am missing/have not had the following: (numbers refer to CA's ranking not mine)

#4,7,8,10,12,13,14,15,18,19,21,25

Some are ISOM's and as such cannot be gotten here in the states, and others I have been too lazy to try just yet, and others i have not been able to find locally. The Tatuaje Cabinet Especiales seem interesting just because they are a US made cigar, but i have not found them locally

Well of the top of my head I know I am missing the Fuente Don Carlos #2 but i have a few others that are not easy to get around here, so maybe i will be able to get them out of the way.  I will post a more complete list when i get home and refer to my notes.

But it is fun to always to be on the hunt for something, and i though that it would be a nice intro intro into good cigars, I might hate them or love them personally but they do something well.

I want to say i am more then half way done, but need to double check.

I have an easy sort of quest for this year, try cA's top cigars of 2004, i have been working my way through it, and it always gives me something to look when I shouldn't be looking for something.

I'm on a quest:

Convice the wife that we should head to Las Vegas November 4th - 6th.   And that she should make her own plans while we are there.  ;)

Interesting, Steve, I am on the same quest with my fiance...are you having as little luck as I am on that front?

My wife is all for the trip to Vegas. She's just not too thrilled that it will be a cigar-related trip.

I shouldn't have told her about the Big Smoke until we were headed down the runway outta Boise. What would have been a 50-50 shot of going has dropped to about 20-80.

I'm still gnawing on that 20%, though. It ain't over yet. ;)

what can I do to help convince her..she can come downa and hang out with my gf and go see a show or something!!!

Thanks for the offer, Matty. I'll toss that into the mix and see if it gets me any closer.

Another Boise BOTL, KiltedCraftsman, is considering the trip also. His wife Jenn is excited to go, so that's in my favor! The four of us went to dinner last night and the topic was bandied about quite a bit. The main hold up for my wife is our two teen boys (12 & 14). They are in school and we don't have anyone to look after them while we are away. If we can get over that hurdle, I think I'm golden. ;)

I got an 11 year old....

BRING THEM ALONG!!!

we will turn the kids loose on the corner or Las Vegas blvd and Tropicana we can dress them in suits and pass them off as Japanese businessmen!!!

The only quest that I am on is to have 2 of each of the Opus X and Anejo line. I'm missing the Perf X, #2 and #5's and the "A". But the thing is I can buy them any time I want...I just like to find them at the cheapest I can get them for. That's the quest...cheap! The Anejo's are harder...to find them is the quest...and then the cheapest I can get them is the other part. I'm a cheap bastid!!

I've been thinking about this alot since this topic started. I decided that my quest is to focus. Hard to do as a newbie though. Went to shop with a huge walk-in humidor, never seen so many cigars in one spot! Got my hands on a couple of cigars that I have been looking for (AF WOAM/N and 858M.) Now I am on a mission to find an 858SG, as well as try a DC Maximus and a PAM. But that's my point, the more I read about cigars, the more cigars I try to search out and I think that maybe I should start focusing on buying/aging some of the ones that I know I already love rather than spending all my money getting 1 or 2 sticks that I have a hard time finding. Once I build up my humidor a bit, then I will start searching for te more hard to find sticks that I want. I love tasting cigars at different points in their age, now I want to focus on deciding on a box or two to invest in so I can do that.

Don't think it will happen because half of the fun for me is the search and the excitement when I actually find something!
