I never said it wasn't possible that someone might post as a girl, to troll for fun. I just said I thought it was rude to make that accusation, or allude to it so abruptly. You and everyone else are free to express YOUR feelings on the matter, as I trust I am too.

Some of you guys are just more up front with your suspicions than feels friendly to me, that's all. No offense intended, it was just on observation. So, the part in red means that everything anyone says is suspect until you can prove otherwise? I agree that this newbie certainly got more than the Lion's share of attention, but I see no reason to publicly doubt the gender of said newbie, unless you guys know something I don't.

I just thought there was something REAL to the moniker that Cigar Pass was the Friendliest Cigar Board on the net. If this is an indicator, then the front page should be worded in the Past Tense.

I am not coming to the rescue of anyone. I stated an opinion, just like anyone else does and has. Now I find myself under attack for an opinion. So I am defending myself.

Hey there PB & Kenny,

Maybe I missed something, but I hate to see any type of argument start over such a silly thing. Kenny said the fellas should chill out basically. I am the one who said it was a guy. Not to be an asshole, but for 2 other reasons, a) I think it is (no proof, just a hunch), and b) I find it almost comical for some little girl to come in here and shake her ass only to have a good amount of guys here reacting to it. So in part I threw it out there so people can think with their big heads for a sec. This "girl" hasn't posted since 2:30 this afternoon, and no one is wondering why.

For the record, I am not the only one question who this person was.

If my point hasn't been noticed yet, this is all in fun. No need to come to blows defending and attacking one another over something so petty :thumbs:

But, now that you mention it, his point is an EXCELLENT one.

It's certainlly something we all should keep in the back of our minds. Just ask Brown Devil and SFG75 if they thought Floyd REALLY stole Russell's pass. :0 ;)

I don't know nor do I really care what takeapuff's gender is but it's wise to question and being skeptical has NOTHING to do with the "friendliness" of this board. On the other hand, it shows that we're not a bunch of gat dang fools here either.

A whole bunch of fools at CW were made to look exactly like a bunch of fools over the BustyGurl incident over there a few months ago, remember that one? :0

I, like everyone else have no clue about this person, but have seen my share of Posers. At CF I probably posted under 5 or 6 different anon names once upon a time, and Kenny remembers it well :p

I didn't think it was rude and anyone thats been on the internet for any amount of time wouldn't take it as rude. Why would anyone want to believe someone was a girl anymore than a new person coming here to sell cuban cigars?

You know CC, I qouted him directly, so that my "Interpretation" could stand side by side with the original statement. I "Interpreted" the statement, and I think I did a good job with it as well.

I did not say that Kenny said "that everything anyone says is suspect until you can prove otherwise" I asked you in a question if this is not how you read the quote "that everything anyone says is suspect until you can prove otherwise?" (note the "?")

I am no English Teacher but I think I interpreted the statement exactly correct. And as I stated before, I am not dissagreeing with it.

I do not think that any of this needed to be an argument, it didn't even really have the makings of a good argument. I am stunned that we were able to debate so little, for so long. :0
