Don’t know if this has been posted about, did a quick search and didn’t come up with a match.

Thought about trying. Has anyone tired it and if so do you like it?

Never seen this before, looks cool though. Need someone with more experience to confirm whether or not it's accurate.

I uploaded it, at first glance it seems cool, have not had a chance to look it over to much.
Messed around a bit and seen you can Scan your own labels and stuff to make new items.

I plan on messing around with it tonight and see what all it can do, maybe try and add a cigar on there.

I forget who it was, but someone on this board I was chatting with a while back said they were working on a software app to track your humidor with cigar ratings etc and also have it hook up to a website.

Who was that again?

I've tried this program before and although good, I found the following to be easier to use:

I wish this post had come before I spent an hour putting together an Excel spreadsheet. LOL! Still good post. Will have to check it out.

So far I have to say I like “Stogie Rate” better.
They have lots of Labels already uploaded, more up to date.
Be a LOT of work to Scan and upload EVERY label into the program.
Doesn’t come with reviews already filled in like the other one and not as much detail in the lines

The “CigarBriefcase” dose have more detail(on sizes and such) on each line, of the ones they do list.
Seems to be out dated some, No La Flor Dominicanas listed and lots of CAO cigars are missing.
That was at quick glance, I am not a cigar encyclopedia so I cant say what all is not listed on both just by looking it over, just can see which ones I smoke are listed or not
I am sure both are missing some.
Pros and Cons about both, put them together and you got a K.A.(Kick As) program.

Need one for linux...well,I dont "need" it,just want it.I'd be lazy with it though due to being too busy.
It shouldnt be hard to write a basic script that uses mysql or postgresql.

I used to use Cigar Briefcase and liked it OK. I gave this one a shot right after finding this post the other day and found this application to be a little clumsy. It does have a lot of brands and stuff in it, but there's just way too much effort needed to keep accurate track of my smokes.

I recently took a "wine cellar" spreadsheet I found online and modified the column headings to apply to cigars. It works great!
