Cigar Budget....

I am so out of cigar money for this year it isn't even funny... But that doesn't stop me from picking up a deal or two when I find them.

Long live credit!

So was I the only one who planned early and started a little holiday nest egg?

No, man...I have my 2007 holiday smokes budget of a couple thousand dollars. Unfortunately, I spent it all in 2006! I am currently working on spending my 2009 budget.

LOL! No, just a private citizen with poor impulse control.

I think I need one of those budget thingies, but I never get around to it

I've blown my budget through September... And not even on Cigars, but Camera equipment!

Luckily I've managed to sock-away enough smokes to get me through the holidays, and I can usually slip in some singles from the B&M under the radar.

Looking forward to the holiday deals!

Except for last year, november is usually a good month for cigars to me, its my birthday and my wife and family tell me I'm impossible to buy for. So I always tell them to pick out some of the cigars in my "special" humidor, and find a deal on a box of them, get those and I'll be happy. They've never "surprised" me yet, but I have picked out a few boxes for myself and they mysteriously appear on my birthday! :D

As for budget --- I agree with who ever said THIS is not a budget hobby... although I've never considered it a hobby, more of an adventure. The better you get at it, the more expensive it seems to become.

I don't wanna talk about it, i'd start crying if i ever totaled it up.

Being a newbie in the last few months, please explain to me what happens over the holidays that is so special. Limited releases? Good deals?

Thanks for humoring me.

Both. Good deals usually from the online vendors, and some limited release stuff comes out around the holidays. Fuente is famous (or infamous?) for releasing hard to come by items around the holidays.

My middle name is Budget. Ask my wife why she continually blows her Budget.

Budget = the same thing as Credit Card debt right?
