Now that is just plain silly! NO wait its just plain STUPID on their part. :angry:
You are a paying customer (in this case be it drinks or in other cigars) and as such you have all the right in the world to light up a smoke you choose.
I could see an exception if you weren't a regular or just taking advantage of them by skirting the basic patronage etiquette, but this is not the case.
As suggested by others I would check to see if this was just another overzealous commission employee or really just a greedy owner/manager. Either way I would make a formal complaint, make sure they do understand the error made and give them a way to save a face (and a good customer). If not then I would take my hard earned money elsewhere where it will be appreciated.
