Cheap Conversion

I too am now encouraged to try this out and am searching craigslist for cedar furniture. I have a cedar trunk that I may use, but it is only cedar lined. Is there any thing special I should look for in the inside woods when trying to do this, or generally just that it is lined with cedar and would be easily to seal. :thumbs:

Cedar and spanish cedar are different

Spanish cedar in humidors is actually a type of mahogany, not cedar. Most furniture you'll find will be made of aromatic cedar not spanish, so you'd be better off finding a piece that's made out of a normal wood and adding some Spanish cedar for use as a humidor.
