Cello on or Cello off?

I haven't seen this mentioned here and I haven't made my mind up yet.
 
This is a problem I also often face. Some people say that leaving cello, in this case plastic wrap, on creates a better re-heating experience. Others say just putting a paper towel on top of the plate or bowl (or simply leaving them uncovered) is more effective. Maybe it depends on if the dinner is frozen or just a refrigerated dish being reheated.

Edited for spelling. As Bill pointed out, you don't want to be eating out of a bowel!
