I for one, only smoke cedar wrapped cigars. I find the cedar sleeve really adds that nice "outdoor" taste to my smokes, though it gets a little hard to keep under control once you burn past the tape that was holding the cedar together. I've taken to adding a little scotch tape to the length of the cedar to prevent those issues.
The REALLY special ones are the ones that have the ribbon around the end. Wow, the ribbon REALLY adds to the kick provided by the cedar sleeve. However, the last few ribbons I smoked didn't burn very well, very uneven. Must be that my humidor is at 64.999917% instead of the known best 65.00000%. Those beads are so unreliable......
