Okay FuenteGuru, what about the ribbon at the foot of AFs finest? ???

Ribbon on, ribbon off?

The ribbons are red to indicate fire; it's a subtle, classy way of saying "light here" -- the red ribbon also acts as an excellent catalyst to get the cigar burning properly, akin to light fluid on your coal briquettes.

well, then what about the black ribbon on the sun growns?

I think the problem was the type of cedar used. Your cigar needs to be wrapped in a kiln-treated cedar so it can take the heat, this type of cedar burns slower. Just remember if the cigar flames out again next time, make sure you have graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows at the ready.

Come, come... you're a man of the world, Ric. The black ribbon is meant to indicate a reverse Lewinski maneuver.

ok now that i have a belly ache from laughing :D ive actually had customers ask if the cedar makes the cigar burn/taste better! to them i reply oh by all means cedar wrapped cigars have the most unique flavor imaginable :p then explain it is to be removed. most of them just chuckle and act very embarassed  one guy came back the day after buying his first cedar wrapped cigar complaining of the uncontrolable flame caused by the cedar on his cigar! after explaining it needed to be removed he laughed out loud and said guess i should have asked in the first place and made me promise not to tell any one. hope he doesnt read this forum :whistling:

you guys should try slipping a minty toothpick in the foot of the cigar before lighting up for a pine, woody, minty touch.

K&P

Sad but true, ya know someone out there has done this very thing! I would love to see it. :whistling:
