CAO Sopranos LE humidor

We were at our local herf spot last week, and our tobacconist shows us this new Sopranos humidor with 48 "Tony Soprano limited edition" cigars inside (sized 6-1/2 x 60). The humi itself was a larger version of the Sopranos box, but black. Inside it was loose tobacco leaf with the stogies wrapped in plastic. It's big enough to hold probably 75-80 sticks. There was a plate on the inside edge, with "#1475 of 1500" engraved on it, so its a limited edition for sure.

When I asked "how much", the price was an even $1000. Being a fan of the show, and the cigars, I snapped it up. I did a Net search, but couldn't find any MSRP info, even on CAO's site. Does anybody have any other info, street price, etc.?

I was asking my CAO rep the same question about MSRP at The RTDA. CAO did not set one, after talking to a few other retailers, it seems the going rate is about $20.00 a stick. So it seems you did pretty well.

That's cool.... the owner of the shop agreed to the sale without looking at it first, and wasn't too happy, but agreed to the sale anyway. I gave him and our tobacconist a BTL as a "Thank You"...

We just got some at my shop, the ring gauge is a little big for my taste. They're selling for $22.50 a peice. The humidor is really cool though. It's also neat that they put tobacco in there also, and I love the CAO humipaks. My my cigars have gotten expensive haven't they

Are these the same blend as the regular CAO Sopranos? The ones at $10 that everyone thinks are overpriced?

I suppose the value is in the packaging with this.
