I love both of them, but am more satisfied with the current production of BPC's....but don't get me wrong, I'll smoke a Monte 4 everyday of my life as well.

Both great PC's, probably two of the best in the world (at least in my world LOL). Also, the flavors change as time passes with each and every cigar...no cigar ever stays the exact same way. Who knows, maybe I'll prefer the 08 production of monte's better than the BPC's....I can't wait to test that one out myself!

It will doubtless depend on the individual boxes. Like most cigars, YMMV.
At the moment, my Dec 2005 Boli PCs are blowing the doors off my Sep 2003 Monte 4s in every way -burn, draw, flavour and consistency are all better with the Bolivars but I'm still happy with the Montecristos.

And the Aug 2005 Sancho Non Plus may be better than both.

That's alot of cigars to fall back on if some don't turn out well...but that's exactly what I was saying. I totally agree.

Psssst...if you need any extra room, I'm always looking to grab 5'ers...I go through cigs like they are candy : )

But yes, SamuraiJack, if you love the Monte 4s, check the box date and browse around and see how they are smoking in the community...it's very easy to find out how things are smoking. You might find that if you let some sleep longer, they will turn out much better than you could have ever imagined! Or...it could be the opposite. Fresh one's could smoke the best! SEARCHING is your best friend

Completely unnecessary, Jason. I'm just paying forward the generosity I've been shown in my year and a half here. But, if that's the way you want to play... :whistling:

So I was casually walking by my mailbox and then...............................BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!! I got blasted by a roadside bomb!!!!!

Even though I was expecting a package, I was not prepared for this. It was VERY MUCH SO over the top...just AMAZING! I literally had to rub my eyes a few times because I didn't believe what I was looking at.

Long story short......My wishlist just got smaller....and smaller....and smaller! Played very well Tomthirtysix!

I'm very lucky! It must be that you were too along the way on CP! So I guess I wanna say thanks to Tomthirtysix AND to all of the great folks who put Tomthirtysix in such a great mood on here!!!!
