Growing too fast.
Every so often, something happens that is so amazing, so unbelievably unexpected, that it just overwhelms the mind. Today was one of those days.
I was expecting a couple of packages to come in today and usually go home for lunch, however today I had to go to a lunch/meeting instead. I called the wife to let her know, and she confirmed that there were a couple of boxes that did come in, so I decided I’d go ahead and run by the house after the lunch before heading back to the office.
I walk in the back door of the house and there’s a HUGE box sitting on the table. And when I say huge, I mean HUGE! I look at the addy but really don’t recognize it and certainly wasn’t expecting anything of this size. I was actually a little nervous to open it! :laugh: I went ahead and got out my little Swiss Army, put the box on it’s end, and started cutting the tape. Jess came up to help me, very excited to see what was in the box, and excited she should’ve been with what was in it. Needless to say, she let out squeals of joy with what was sent. Not only what was sent to her, but underneath was simply the most humbling package of smokes I think I’ve ever received, of course my wife snatched up the several packages of coffee and ran with them! :laugh: Very funny with the depends, and not quite sure what that smell was? :laugh:
Matthew (Anthem), Jake (BigJake6904), Israel (uptown_isy), Gary (Ironpedller), and Jason (Lordlister), Claudio (Sack), and Dave (HandymanDave), I don’t even know how to begin to thank you guys for such an absolutely over the top, overwhelming, completely unbelievable bomb. I took out the typed letter first, and as I read it out loud tears started running down my wife’s face. I too felt tugs at the ‘ol heart strings. We were all very touched by such incredible generosity. Thank you, thank you from all of us!
I would love to post the pictures of the opening of the box and such, however I don’t want to offend anyone by doing so.
