Blind Cigar Review - Pay it Forward #2!

Indeed it is. Anytime I get a duplicate of a nice cigar I try to pay one forward so someone else will be able to try something new as well.. Not too long ago I got 2 T110's and gifted one away. Hope I didn't offend you, Pembroke. I was under the understanding that the gifting of a gifted cigar is fine?? Am I wrong?

Ben I am not offended at all. I think it is ok to gift a gifted cigar. I did not like them it was to mild for me. I guess I expected them to be smoked. My main concern was it might not be in the spirit of a PIF to PIF with a gifted cigar no biggie my friend. :thumbs:
 
I could definitely be wrong, but I feel as if the PIF is much the same as a gift, just perpetual. But fear not, the other Status was turned to ash a couple days after I received it!!

Pretty sure that 2 of those cigars were sent to you by my in a PIF as well

Only the Fuente, Jim, as it was one I had smoked already. Am I in the wrong here? I didn't think there was any problem as I'm not trying to make a gain or anything, just passing on to others things that I've already had that they may not have?!?
 
Ben I do not think that you broke any rules on CP. This is just my opinion only. A cigar that is gifted or won for free should be smoked. Again I am not offended by it. I personally would not use a gifted cigar as part PIF.
 
Sorry, I thought I was doing good in passing on sticks I had already experienced.
 
Well I got the cigars and I am not offended lol
Lets get back to the PIF, shall we?

"The trading or gifting away of gifted cigars is generally considered inoffensive, except perhaps in special cases where a) the cigar is particularly rare, expensive or otherwise significant or b) there is an expectation that the cigar will be smoked and the experience shared."

Personally, I try my best not to re-gift cigars. I consider them as just that, gifts, and smoke them with a higher appreciation. Just my $.02.

Also Gents please make sure you do and post your reviews. That's a big part of this process and should not be overlooked. ....and quite honestly IMHO all the fun!!
