I've never seen one of these before (that I know of...) - a Double Crested Cormorant.

We get a few of these in our pond in SC.

Had Yellow-Rumped Warblers show up at the feeders this morning. I know they're in the area, but it's the first time I've seen them in our yard.




Forget Angry Cat - we have Angry Warbler!!!

It's easy to underestimate the ferocity of some of even the smallest birds. Hummingbirds are very aggressive, even little house sparrows are always ready to thrown down.

I bet Angry Warbler is ready to back it up!

Boy do I have some great shots of the house sparrow "throw downs"...

You have to see to believe the gold finch vs red poll finch battles during the winter!!!

Looks like a Great Blue Heron and a Grey Jaybird to me. We have a lot herons around here but no Grey Jays.

He's a lot smaller than a Blue Jay, not sure what he is. They are thick right now.

A few turkeys, they are thick, too.
