What is in your opinion the best cigar money can buy? Feel free to list more than one. and remember price doesn't matter.

Doc,

I think the best bang for your money is the Hemingway line, in particular for me the Signature. At about $6 each the flavor is unbeatable.
That is JMO! Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Ok thanks for all these replies ;)
But i guess what im asking is what is in your opinion your favorite cigar. Like if you had 1 billion dollars to spend on a single cigar which cigar would you buy?
Happy New Year!

1 billion dollars? I would still only spend $40 on a good Taboada. I think that the most expensive cigar in the world would most likely be too much for a lot of the newbs here...and could just suck for some others! Price doesn't matter...smoke what is good to YOU.

Ok so um i guess what i meant is not that price matters. but simply that some people are on a budget and this would alter their opinion as to the quality of cigar because of the price tag that comes with it. please accept my appology if i have jumped to conclusions here but this is what made sense to me at the time of my OP

Co23, what you're missing here between the lines in reading these posts is we find it a matter or courtesy to introduce yourself as you join our community. Take a moment to put up a post telling us a little about yourself, where you're from, what you do, yada yada yada. Members will welcome you, you may find someone from your area to smoke with or become friends with, that kind of thing. Then the "Whats the best cigar" threads will be received much better.

A simple answer to your original question, there is no answer as everyones tastes are different, kinda like Coke/Pepsi, Ford/Chevy...you get the idea. The best cigar is the one YOU like best.

Yes i am sorrry about not introducing myself, i made an attempt in the "NYE smoke" thread but ehm yeah. i guess ill post another one.
I am from zurich, Switzerland and have been smoking for about 1 year. I enjoy cubans (they are legal here) i.e. Cohiba or Montecristo. I would also like to take this moment to prematurely wish everyone a happy new year. Also what i was asking is
what is in your opinion your favorite cigar
but let me re-word that. what is your favorite cigar? or what is in your opinion the best cigar? i know what i like, but i'm wondering what you all are into.
Peace,
C

Nicely done Volusianator!

Co23, there is an "Introduce Yourself Here" room which is where you want to post your intro thread. I know you have done it twice before. But do it there once, you'll have it done, and a boat load more folks will see that you're a new member.

In answer to your question, I don't have one that I call a "favorite" above all others. But some of my favorites are the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur #1 maduro; the La Unica Cameroon (any size); the JR Ultmate Principales maduro; the Don Tomas Cameroon; the Montecristo Platinum toro; the Padron 2000 maduro; and the Mantequilla maduro torpedo.

And as far as Cuban cigars...I have been less than impressed with the majority that I have smoked.

The bottom line is to "Smoke what you like, and like what you smoke".

You know for the life of me I thought this post was started by Doc. I must have still been asleep when I was on this morning. I am starting to think I am losing it.

I've been liking nicaraguans lately, though i've also taken a fancy to the Perdomos with the african cameroon wrapper. I think i'll enjoy sungrowns more when they have some time to rest, but the nics seem very good after just 1-6 months.
