Baltimore, MD mini-herf

The hard part is trying to decide what to smoke tomorrow. What do I smoke in the morning on the way up? What do I smoke at the Ropewalk? What do I smoke in the afternoon? What do I smoke after dinner? Hell, I need to bring a 100 count humi just to have enough choices. Do I bring the good stuff? Everyday smokes? Oh well, I guess it's a good thing we aren't leaving for another 9 hours. :( :D

To those of you making it tomorrow, see you then. :)

Just got back. I met LCSmoker, cigardawg, mrjingles, Ludwig, and hudsonvalley. The first three, aka the Charlottesville crew, had another guy with them named Don, who they are in the process of convincing to join here. Once he met me as his first example of the kind of other members there are on here of course that's never gonna happen.

Anyway I would have to say that these fellas are all gentlemen in the truest sense of the word. Well spoken, polite, humble, and knowledgeable--how they ended up on CP is beyond me!

High quality smokes were sacrificed and exchanged, food was eaten, all the usual things you expect to happen at a herf. And I'd like to get corroboration on this...was Beth a hottie or what? I think Don was making eyes at her while he was supposedly "playing Mrs. Pac-Man."

I agree. We had a great time as well and enjoyed meeting some fellow CPers. It was nice to be able to put some faces with the names. Yes, Beth was a hottie. Don got lost (we couldn't find him for about an hour) after we left Ropewalk. We did find out he went back to Ropewalk and gave Beth a number where we could reach him (I think he wanted HER to have the number).

Glad you all could join us - it was truly a great time. Missed Lumberg and Ludwig at the Harbor Court hotel lounge - REALLY nice place to herf (for future reference). I'll have pictures up on my website later today (and, why, oh why, did we not get a picture of Beth...)

Thanks guys for a great time - hope to do it agian soon....

Q:Hey! Aren't you engaged?

A: I'm engaged, not blind!

!

That's a great picture of the guys at the lounge...HudsonValley reading is a nice touch.

Also note that's me leaning on the indian in the other group pic and HudsonValley wants those of you with sharp eyes (i.e. not the FOGs) to note the Indian Tabac cigar propped up in the indian's hand next to the staff he's holding.

Edit: HV also then gifted me that cigar, which I haven't smoked yet. THANKS!

Yes, great time, guys. Every stop on our little crawl was fun. That Harbor Court lounge was really something nice. Too classy for the rest of you but I felt right at home. :) And Larry was a prince for picking up the tab. Maybe he should just skip CP and go right to CS

And that was some pretty good cuban food a Babalou's. I guess thanks go to Beefcube for that tip.

I concur: note to self. In the future more pictures of cute waitresses. Maybe we could have had her hold a cigar and nominate her for AVB's hall of fame. (She was that nice) I might lose MY sense of direction should I ever herf in Baltimore again.

Not a bad day trip. Got home 1:15 am. Worth the drive.

Are sure you didn't go herf with someone else later in the day and then get us confused. We are most surely an illiterate, rude, arrogant, and dumb-as-dirt bunch of cigar smokers. ;) How dare you suggest otherwise. :p

Kidding aside, it was one fine day of cigar smoking. It was great to meet some fellow CPers, smoke some good cigars, and find new places. The Explorer's Lounge at the Harbor Court Hotel was, indeed, a fine place to smoke a cigar. I look forward to returning. The food at Ba Ba Lu...fantastic.

I hope more of you can meet up with us next time we are in town. It was most certainly a good time.

Tom, Johnathon, Andrew...great to meet you. Hope to smoke with you again sometime.

Thanks again everyone, I had a great time, wish I could have meetup later but I ended up scooting down to DC, but I am glad I got to burn a few sticks. My note to self is I need a bigger traveldor as I was going to bring more sticks.

My other note to self is I must walk down to Ropewalk very shortly and see what Beth is up to, seemed like a cool girl, and she was easy on the eyes. Hope to meetup again soon.

Thanks again for the good time.

Yeah, that was a great time! It was great to meet up with fellow CPer's and trade sticks and stories. The Explorers Lounge was fabulous; definately a must!

So I guess the only question is .....where next???

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Was in the DC area but wasn't able to break away. Maybe next time.
