what a great herf, and it was fun putting faces to names. ggiese was a riot, i really expected robocop, lol! made more trades than i thought possible, and john conroy is a very generous man, along with all the cigarpass bros! special thanks to the hosts, hail!!!! too bad the bears lost!

Great time @ the yesterdays HERF!!! After hearing about John Conroy one day trip from NY I‘m sure glad I made “the trek” all the way from downtown! LOL

It was a real pleasure to meet all of the guys from this forum & put faces to the handles that I have been interacting online. George (ggeise) was a big “disappointment” :laugh: RLMAO as he proved to be just as I expected a truly a generous BOTL & all around great conversant. He even got Bill (coventrycat) to make a VIP appearance via cell phone & put a “scare” in this newbie from long distance. :sign: ;-) Alex (alexgtp) was great talking to you & sharing your cigar aging/storage/smoking experiences with me. Big thanks you both of you for your generosity. :love:
Steve (gtphale), Sack & his son Matt were a blast to talk shop & drink in between the watching the Bears get clobbered. :thumbs:

Also there were plenty other “non-forum” guys that I had a joy meeting namely Kevin (with that cool Rocky Patel burner), Mike Z., Cochise (my personal “chauffer” who was kind to give me a ride to & from the train station), John Conroy(graciously coming from NY & bringing boxes of cigars for us to sample), Baron (enjoyed those cookies to the max) & everyone else that I may omitted in this hastily post.

Hope we do get a chance to do this again & put something interesting in downtown Chicago sometime next year. When I get back from my Xmass vacation I will so my best to try and arrange something cool of interest to us all & try to give back something to you all. :blush:

Ahh yeah also smoked 3 great cigars (AF Hemingway Classic. H.Upmann Majestic, & Partagas Spanish Rosado) between all the good brew & even better company…...what a Sunday afternoon!

I want to thank all of you guys who made it out.
This is what the BOTL is all about.

Big thanks to John Conroy for flying out and providing us with some amazing cigars. I enjoyed the spanish rosado so much I had to smoke another one..LOL!!

It was nice to see alot of the usual suspects..and great to see some new faces.. I wish more of you could of made it out.. Hopefully we can have many more herfs in the future with a great amount of turnout.

Also those cookies Baron brought to the herf were yummy.!!
