Arturo Fuente Anejo Special Release Cameroon Shark

Nice review, I have one resting also. I was wondering if it should age for a while before I try it. Sounds like the consensus is to let them sit a while. Thanks for the write and pictures...

I was hoping to find a review on these when I logged in. I just got a 10 pack of these and am looking forward to trying it soon.

I popped my head into the humi this morning to see what I would take to work and saw one of these had started to grow some mold on the foot so I decided it was time for the fire. Loren, you are dead on...Bland. I would give it an 86 though with a higher score forthcoming once they age. These need a long bit of time to dry. I caught lots of different wonderful flavors, however, they all seemed to be subdued by that wet overtone. I think aging would also allow the flavors to work with one another as opposed to coming out all jumbled and working against one another. It sort of reminds me of an AVO 80th where the flavors are masked by youth but I can tell time will make it a real winner. Maybe I'll try one again for Christmas '07 or '08.

I never did like the Avo 80 even after it aged. But I am still sticking to the fact that the Cameroon Shark has serious potential later on after it has rested a year or so. I'm just happy I have 2 sitting in the humidor right now so I can test it later on.

I tried one of mine the other day. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It greatly improved after the 1st inch or so. This cigar will definetly do great with some age. I am still looking for more to store away. They have proven to be hard to come by.
