We’ve already had that talk. ? I’ve seen pictures of the walk in construction progress along with the security system Bill is installing. Here’s his wife testing it out so he can make needed adjustments.

Damn, I've had an Aristocrat on my "forever home" wishlist for a while. It is going to be a while until I ever got to that point, so I guess I need to reconsider. Sucks to hear that his lease is the issue after so long, but I hope he gets to enjoy retirement.

I've always wanted something from these guys.

Vigilant

A buddy of mine had one of their units almost 20 years ago...the humidification was in the bottom of the cabinet, under the floor....pretty slick. When I saw the prices they were asking...$4,500.00 and up for a end table unit, I went with Bob's humidor. Picked the configuration, species of wood, the color stain, and the humidification....hard to beat Bob's workmanship and dedication to his craft. Vigilant is really nice...but so are the Aristocrats.

What a shame! If Bob does retire I wish him the best, he's been a real gentleman to deal with. I hope one or more of his employees realize the rep Bob has created in the cigar community and buys the name and continues the business. I love the piece of furniture I bought for my cigars and when I look at his competitors pricing I am happy as hell I went with an Aristocrat.

BTW - I think their pricing has come more in line in recent years.
I checked out some of the end-tables and they seem more reasonable than 5-8 years ago.
