So my grandfather is not doing well at all. Has cancer and diabetes and has been going downhill lately. I wanted to spend some time with him before he passed and to help my grandmother out while he is not able to do anything. So I am flying out tomorrow and will be there til the 10th. I'll be in the Ocala area so if anyone is near there and would like to meet up for a smoke I'll see if I can break away from the family briefly and meet up. And of course everyone else keep him and your thoughts and prayers if you will. Much appreciated.

I am sorry to hear. I wish that you will be able to cherish what you have left with him. I lost my grandfather to cancer 15 months ago, and it still hurts to this day.
 
Prayer sent Ben, have a good trip and enjoy your time with them while you can.
 
My thoughts are with your family and your grandfather. Mine passed when I was still young but is still one of the most influential people I have ever had in my life. My adult years with him would have been fun.
 
Just an update. Dr. Robert "Grandaddy" Williams passed this morning at 9:55am central time after a long night. He was about to be taken into hospice care and before they got here he passed on. Just how he had talked about how he wanted it. Thank you for all the prayers being sent. He will be missed.

Very sorry to read of his passing my brother. If there is a silver lining, it's that I'm glad you had the opportunity to be with him again prior to his passing, and that he was surrounded by his family.

Will continue to keep you guys in my prayers.

Ben prayers sent. Sorry to hear this, I know he was having a rough night last night. But he is in better hands now, and going to be watching over your every step. Stay strong and remember, its not the end just the beginning.
