Been looking at this console and may get one for the kids this Christmas if I can find a shop with some in stock.

Just wondering if it is all that the ads say it is. The idea of the motion control is appealing. Make the kids work while they play rather than sit like zombies.

Any real world reviews from you guys?

My girlfriends sister has one. The only game I saw was the sports game that comes with the system. It seems like a pretty simple system, meaning that it's good for the young ones! The girlfriends daughter is 6, and she and her cousin where having a blast with it!

My youngest son has a buddy with one. Very, very cool....a great console with what is arguably one of the most advanced controllers on the market. Some of the Nintendo games are among the most entertaining console games you can get, IMHO. Great stuff....

One < small > problem....the really cool controller you swing about seems to have "come loose" a time or two and makes a pretty respectable projectile. Check here for a "chuckle" of sorts....

I'll buy one...when the availability and $$ moderates, just a bit.

Cheers - B.B.S.

I saw the same thing. Nintendo must have had issues because they include a wrist strap for the contoller in case you slip. There is already a support group online for people who slip and throw thier remote through the TV screen, drywall, windows, etc......

Seems interesting.. Hope the kids have a good grip!!!

My worries would be the accuracy of a motion controller versus a "normal" one.

Plus, sometimes, I just want to sit on my arse, drink beer, and play a game...not work out.

Thanks for the input guys.

Been reading and looks like you will be able to download some of the classic games from prior NES consoles as well as some of their former competition. Way cool.

All we got in the house right now are PC's and a Nintendo64. Think something like this will be fun for the whole family. Now I just need to be at the store when they get some in..... :)

my roommate has one and i love it, its a decent exercise for the kids and has some very entertaining games. you can hookup a gamecube controller or one of the newer 'improved' snes ones and use those to play games if i'm not mistaken.

You're in supply in the Army.....isn't this redundant?

Walmart 12/6 they saved there last two shipments to be able to run an ad that came out yesterday! Good luck, I know where I'm going to be that morning!

Yeah, if High-N-Tight or Tasman read this, they'll laugh out loud for sure....and be like...ummmmm no sh_t Wyatt.

We have one and it is fantastic. The wireless controllers are very accurate and all of the games I have played so far are great. Now keep in mind that Nintendo has always been my console of choice but even so, this is the best system to date.
