I don't get much of Ferrari's strategy since even before Vettel came to the team...I don't get Ferrari telling the pole sitter on new tires to block for his teammate on old tires, glad he decided to go for it.

I'm not celebrating too much, yet. I'm extremely happy with the win and the dominance of pace, but that (freakin' catastrophic) failure gives pause. What wasn't just a failure... that literally blew up! Makes one believe they are running at 10/10ths to extract the performance we've seen out of the engines. So Ferrari beats RB at their home course, and wins due to pure race pace. And only one Ferrari blew up!

If they don't blow up, we can count on Binotto sabotaging any chance of winning. Honestly, he makes such bad decisions, I am starting to think Horner paid him off. There is no way someone gets to his level being that incompetent.Hey, look at the bright side- they didn't blow up!
Binotto was very competent in his former role -- he just doesn't have the vision or overall grasp to be a team leader.
Max has come a long way, and I do believe he has that little bit "extra" that a driver needs to be a champion that most other drivers just do not possess. The car is a big part of it, but Max is definitely the real deal (and I'm not a Max or RB fan). Same with Hamilton, say what you will. I hope that George can get a car worthy of his talent -- we saw what he did in Lewis's championship-winning car. The Red Bull is just a step ahead of everyone else this year with the new car. We'll see if anyone can catch up... or if F1 will regulate them back to parity.I thought we were passed the days of runaway victories, but it seems Christian Horner sold his soul to the devil and is untouchable again. Max is very talented, but if you put Leclerc or Russel in that same car with the same management, you're going to have the same results.
