Well? Any insiders know/have any idea what it will come out as?

Pretty sure they are just filing with the SEC today.. It'll be a few months before you can buy, and my 2 cents is your just be wasting money on the start or another tech bubble

It won't actually go public until sometime around May. And since this will be the hottest IPO in some time, you'll have to be a major player with one of the firms taking them public. Most investors won't get a chance to buy until the stock is actually trading, and that will probably be at a huge premium to the IPO price.

Agree with both of you.

Speculation on what it will begin trading at?

It will be available for 2 arms and a leg. Since that would limit my ability to smoke cigars, I am out !!!

I won't be able to afford it, was just wondering what something like FB would open at and how successful it would be. With all the changes they are making and people getting tired and not participating, didn't know how it would negatively affect it.

Won't be able to tell what it is trading at until the IPO filing is complete and a share count is announced. Safe to say that you can look for the stock to price at least around 150x sales revenue...and that's just the IPO price...figure more than double that in the aftermarket. Good luck! It will be interesting to see this stock trade relative to LinkedIn which was also run by Morgan Stanley. Linkedin did well, but was issued and is trading a a much lower premium than Facebook (FB) is supposed to.

You mean to tell me the CP Investment club won't have a crack at this before it goes public? Those guys are some heavy hitters, what gives?

Well,
With the estimated market cap at 3-4 billion. This being based on the private shares that where sold to investment firms..
I can see the stock price at the $70-$80 price range with 30 million shares issued, INITIALLY.

By the time is is trading for the avg Joe to buy, the price will be over $100.

They where talking about this on the news all day today saying that it should open between 30-40 a share for the initial IPO offerings and only would be offered to current investors/clients. Not sure how much truth is in the news these days though.
