I recently joined a state wide ghost hunter group. Just curious if anyone else has tried this.

I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks, I do I do I do I do believe in spooks! Can you tell I've been watching the Wizard of Oz with my little girl?

Lots of ghosty stories around here in the south...skeeery places ya won't catch me in late at night.

I like watching the show, and the T.A.P.S team is pretty interesting.

Yeah I'm into paranormal stuff. Went so far as to modify a Radio Shack radio to what is called a Frank's Box for the fun of it.

I think there is a post about ghost hunters on the board. There is also a post about "Urban Exploration" that delves into this territory. I'm giving you the "Search Button" line, just wanted you to know to check it because as I remember there are some great stories in there :)

I've had a few experiences that could be paranormal in origin, but could also be coincidence. And no, alcohol or other altered personal conditions weren't involved.

Aren't we a little old to be believing in things that go bump in the night?

Good TV entertainment -- pretty ridiculous concept.

Just my .02.

As Steve Martin once said "I wouldn't believe in anything if it weren't for my lucky astrology mood watch".

Theres a couple "clubs" out my way I have been told, and would love to check one out. The Paranormal has always interested me. SWMBO and I have gone to Eastern State Penententuaty (spelling? :whistling: ) back when the holloween tour wasn't all cheesified. We walked the cell blocks in the dark listening to the tour guide tell of all the hauntings reported. Very Wild!! This year we are spending the 10/31 in a reportedly haunted house featured on one of those shows. I have my white noise generator ready for some ghost recording!!

I am the chapter skeptic. As a biologist, I get a good kick out of some of those people on our hunts that "sense" something.

TAPS is alright to watch. I question things on the show sometimes but they do a decent job.

My grandmothers house is haunted. She has a window in her attic that is one of those old hard to move wooden ones. It opens itself the same night that you close it. Its kind of wierd.

I've heard all sorts of people saying they've had paranormal experience, but until I see something for myself I don't believe any of it.

I used to be part of a couple of groups here in Alabama...I really enjoyed and got to stay all night at one of the "scariest places on earth", Sloss Furnace...I hope you have fun doing this...PM me if you ever want to chat about it.
