An Olive Branch to Chris (seadub) and the forums

My thanks to Chris and Tom. I would hope we can all learn from this. My wish is that we can always try to find a solution to a difficult situation in a thoughtful way.

I continue to think highly of both of you and it was a pleasure to speak to both of you over the last two days.

Very well played you two. It's nice to feel like CP just took a step in the right direction. I want to say thanks to all of you that stood back in the Bad Trader thread and just watched. I can't remember the last time something was handled just like it was supposed to be....Only between the people it really involved. You really made me remember what this place is all about.

Guys - I've corresponded with Israel as he's jacked into the cigars for the troops effort in a big way. I'll close the deal with him tomorrow and I suspect he'll confirm the donation to the brave men and women in harms way sometime tomorrow.

A huge thanks to Anthony for being the voice of reason in a tense time. I owe him big time, as well..... :cool:

Just a quick, non-involved Newbler perspective....Nicely done. THIS is the CP I brag about to family and friends. The sticks-to-troops solution? Gents, you have no idea. Seriously. Some folks are about to have their whole day made by random strangers on the interwebs. Again, well done Gentlemen. (I can recommend a couple of outstanding brothers I just left if needed. ;)

Glad to see this resolved. All three of you gents have been an example of how to settle a sensitive issue in a gentlemanly way. Kudos to all of you.
 
Considering the three people involved here, the outcome is not at all surprising. Unbelievably wonderful, but not surprising.
 
Nicely handled by both in the end. I am glad to see two respected members finally agree to an agreement without making this more of an argument.

As a new member on the board, I have been browsing through many threads and it seemed to me there was a lot of drama. I didn't know if this was par for the course or just a bad time. It is great to see that two guys can have a disagreement and be able to work things out. It's also impressive as a new member to see the other members getting involved, not to take sides, but to try to help out when they can and then when the time calls for it, everyone gets out of the way and doesn't interject and make posts that aren't helpful.

Great resolution to a misunderstanding, glad to see that these problems can be resolved and in such a good fashion. Very well played from all involved!
