What a great time tonight!!

It was great to see everyone. I think we had about 16 CP'ers there. We had about 3-4 guys who came from at least a couple of hours away. Preembargo did some wonderful things on the grill. We did a beer/ale pass/share. Not sure what you would call it, but it sure was fun.

Game was fantastic!! Go Cowboys!!

Several big thanks go out to;
Cody (5thou) for putting this whole thing in motion,
Brian (Infinity) & Al for sharing the box o' Tats,
Mike (preembargo) for doing the cooking,
Jim (Mr. TR) for sharing the place and for always being so hospitable,
Jay (Altercall) for putting together a great idea,
Dean (Tasman) for going way over the top on Jay's great idea,
Michael (Lurch) for setting up the Beer/Ale Pass,
Jeff (Rebel Herfer) for the Al Gore rants,
...and everyone else just for being there and making for a great evening.

Cody, mr.mac, vin, and marc, you were all sorely missed. Man I wished you all had been there.

We capped off the night by packaging up about 14 big boxes for OpFTH. Several hundred cigars and all kinds of other goodies for the troops. What a perfect way to end a Veteran's Day gathering.

I can't thank you all enough for coming to the Herf tonight. It was nice to get this acomplished, so thank you to Al & Brian for the wonderful Tats (I think it might be my fav so far) and to Cody for seting this in motion. I enjoyed seeing the familiar faces and meeting the new BOTLs and the tremendous generosity Jay's idea has generated. :thumbs:
It meant a tremendous amount to many people in attendance and overseas.

Brothers, it was truly a fantastic day and I am humbled and overwhelmed. There’s so much to thank you all for and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed and appreciated packing up the OpFTH shipment with you. (pics to follow soon). I can’t think of a better way to honor those who serve and have served our country.

You all personify Brotherhood and I’m so glad that some of CP’s newest members who were in attendance were able see first hand what Brotherhood really means to this community. All I can say is Thank you.

I had a great time yesterday gentlemen. We had a great gathering as Gary already informed us of. To all the newer guys that joined us, thank you so much for coming and celebrating a great occassion with us. That is the true spirit of this place and you guys got to see it full force.

Mike, as always, thanks for convincing Jim to host such a motley crew and allowing us to just be ourselves. You and yours deserve much more than you realize for all your efforts in OpFTH. Julie, thank you so much for putting up with Mike.

That was my first nerf and had a great time, hope we have many more. I was glad to meet some of the guys Mike has been talking about.

Guys this was a blast! I really enjoyed it all. I wish I could have stayed to package everything for the troops. I look forward to doing this all again.
