I was at Howard AFB, Panama back in the day for Kindle Liberty and we had the planes rigged up for the 82nd Airborne. It was probably the busiest I had ever been in my life. We had all kinds of planes coming in and out all day. Night ops was limited to keep the noise down. Man my best recollection was the Navy PBR's that were airlifted from NoLa. First time seeing a boat that large being cargo.
I felt bad for the 82nd Airborne troops, when they were leaving they had them prone on the empty parking spots and had the drug dogs go through their packs and them. We were so busy a camera wasn't even a thought, which I regret now. Did find an old clip on YouTube. 1983 Kindle Liberty
