Hi Guys,

I'm at the point where I need to update my cigar storage to make room for new sticks. I'd like to find something that can hold about 80-100 cigars and hold humidity. It really doesn't matter to me if it is a humidor or tupperdor set up, but I would like to have some kind of a tray set up just to keep things organized. If I could keep it around $100 I'd be jazzed. Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks!

When I had more boxes I liked the coolidor, but now I'm moving to tupperdores and putting new purchases in them until I stage them to my wineador. I had a few cedar trays in my coolidor that I repurposed, but for $50, that thing looks hard to beat.

Search your local facebook for a wine fridge. I've been lucky enough to find 3 that didn't cool anymore. Got them for under $20 each. Even if they do cool, the resale market on them is shit. You will thank me later for having the extra space to start with.

+1 ... got mine free on Craigslist. 👍

I think its probably worth mentioning when you see humidors advertised and they state a capacity its like gun safes. You always have to dial down that number. Its always inflated.

Also dont be intimidated at getting something you cant fill right away. Just get some boxes from your B&M and season them then place them empty in there to take up some space and help buffer humidity swings. And when you start acquiring some 5r's etc you will have a place to put them. Boxes are cheap and they almost beg you to take them away, if not they go in the dumpster.

I seasoned mine by wiping them down with water then putting them in a cooler with a sponge sitting in a tray of water about half submerged. After about week or so I called it done. After that the beads do all the work.

IMHO beads and wineadors revolutionized cigar storage for the common man.
