Hey folks,
Honestly, I just got my Eagle Scout tonight and thus my dad and I went for a celibratory smoke. He bought me an Acid Blondie...which I haven't heard of, but thoroughly enjoyed. It was a darker tobacco than the others I'd smoked with the exception of the Black Pearl. I'm unsure of the ring gauge, maybe mid/early 40's. The leaf itself was wrapped very well, no veins and quite solid all the way through. The leaf and cigar itself was very sweet which is kind of a nice change. It was only a 6"...but did the trick. Once again, glad to be on the forum and contribute what little experience (but experience nonetheless) I have.

If you just got your Eagle, young fella, you were breaking the law. Come back when you turn 18. I don't believe we tolerate underage smokers here. BTW, congratulations on completing your path to Eagle.

If I only had a dollar for every time I heard that... :sign:

Wilkey

BTW, my response was merely a joke. I am in fact massively hung and can barely keep from bruising my kneecaps with the darned thing every time I take a shower.

Well that's certainly a positive way to view the congenital defect that resulted in you having only 2" femurs! ;)

Actually, I turned 18 on the third of August...and you have up to 60 days to complete your board of review after your 18th as long as the project is complete and all the paperwork is filled out. I appreciate the concern and commend you for catching me, just a little stich in nationals bsa policy.

What was your Eagle Project?

I installed 3 park-type benches, a picnic table and did a bunch of landscaping near the carousel in missoula and its sister play area. I put in about 180 hours on the project.

Sorry for being such a dope. I was just going through the Intro forum when I found yours. Again congrats on your achievement. By the way are you an OA member? Want to trade flaps?

Hey thanks again. I am a brotherhood in OA and I love trading flaps.

Good job! We visited Missoula a couple of years ago with the intention of moving there for school. We absolutely loved it and plan to go back in the future, possibly permanently.

From what I remember, the carousel area did seem to need some attention, and I commend you for giving it the needed work.

As for the Blondie...not my cup of tea, but glad you liked it. I'm sure after hanging around here for awhile you'll learn about many great smokes to try and you should attempt to try them all! That's the best part of this hobby for me!
